I hate those things.

I suppose it is, technically, a chain letter. But it is relatively benign:
•It only asks you to send on to one person, so there is no pyramid, no exponential growth. •You are not ask to pass anything (money, for example) back to the sender, so it is not a scam. •The contents are not exciting, so lots of people won't send it on. As a result, it should die out fairly quickly unless the originator or some virus is repeatedly reinjecting it.
