How to stop Google from spying on me?

i know it's not exactly spying(no need for the P word).
if you search for anything on google and then copy/paste url of a result, you'll see that it's actually a redirect thru google so that they know what sites you clicked on.
is there an easy way to stop that?
(please no smartass comments:))

Use Proxomitron as it strips the URL for you and cleans it.

Neither of your images show the link when you hover over the search result at position one. I bet it is happenning, you just are not holding the mouse over the link.

actually mouse-over shows regular 'clean' url. it's when i right-clicked on it that i saw it change to the real thing.

Why are you picking on Google? This is a common practice with most, if not all free search sites. The purpose is not to compile a list of the porn sites you visit, but to tabulate the click through count. If Google and other search sites could not provide accurate metered click through data to paying clients, the free search sites would cease to exist.

I noticed this a couple of weeks ago.

It seems random- sometimes they monitor the link you click and sometimes they don't. You could get a page of matches and have none of them be monitored, or have every single one.

Its more common to see the monitoring only in one of the first few results though

I get the same thing in FF and IE shows just www.krispykreme.com but if you view the attached image you can see where it goes through. I usually dont worry about it but you could always just copy and paste the green url part and not have to worry about it without having to change anything of course it makes it more of a hassle then just clicking the links.

i love google as much as the next guy and if i could I'd have google's baby, BUT
there are some things i do not appreciate.
also you need to reread what i asked, what google is doing and their business structure.
i don't know if other search engines are doing this(and don't really care). also i don't think there are any 'non-free' search engines that are worth using.
google does not show SEARCH RESULTS based on their "paying clients". those are "Sponsored Links", which are very different things. so there is nothing to "provide accurate metered click through data to paying clients".

my original question was "is there an easy way to stop that?". manually copy/paste url doesn't fit such answer:D

I only get that if I click on the link at the bottom of the entry. If I click on the Krispy Kreme link it only shows www.krispykreme.com/

I think you are confusing sponsored links with the actual query results. Proxomitron has already been mentioned and I recommend using it. Using Proxo I strip out the sponsored links/results and even set my Google search preferences by modifying the search forms rather than accepting their eternal cookie.

i think YOU are the one that's confusing sponsored links with actual query results
I'm talking about stuff that appears on the *LEFT* side of the screen, where it says "Krispy Kreme Doughnuts"
not right side of the screen, which is separated by vertical bar and has results fo ebay and other junk.

Shesh lighten up. I'm just trying to help. Oft times the first result or two has been paid for.
