| reply to AJ023 Maybe they are just testing the waters. If that price were generally available, they wouldn't keep it a secret. |

I can order right now off the website and it is indeed legitimate.
All I know is this market is $54.95 for 30/5 and thats awesome. If they would bring it here, I would be sold. |

| Man I wish I wasn't moving to a condo next month. I love the 15/2 package I have and would upgrade to the 30/5 for the price now, but makes no sense since my folks and I are moving. If this price stays throughout the OOL market, it kills OOL and the 20/2 package that is being tested and may be rolled out. I love competition Now I just need my condo building to be wired for FIOS since I am staying put in Great Neck. MDUs in Nassau County haven't happened yet have they? |

| reply to AJ023 That is the BEST. DEAL. EVER.
NOW lets see the cable companies compete with THAT! $54.95/month is the SWEET SPOT for residential 30mbps/5mbps! I doubt that many people would signup for $59.99/month or up service, but $54.95 @ 10mbps ABOVE that of Optimum Onlines BETA 20mbps/2mbps ($45.95/month) makes it an EXCELLENT steal. I am SO set on FIOS, I will signup the first instance I hear about it.

| reply to AJ023 I can confirm the pricing offer. I entered my neighbor's phone number here in North Woodmere LI and was quoted the $55 price for 30/5.
Also, today in the local paper (Newsday) there was a full page add: "Cable is Unable"
It was a nice shot at OOL. I am so liking this! |
