What about the Cisco VPN Client? What settings do I need to change? The wired connection works with this, the wireless doesn't - even with the same router (WRT54GX v2) |

| I had the same issues, Cisco VPN client 4.0.3(c) WRT54GX-V2 Firmware Version: 2.00.08, wired works fine, wireless doesn't work (Connects, but can't talk to remote side). Worked with support for about 2 hours, and the Linksys tech told me to take it back to the store, which is what I'll do. Too bad, the extra range was nice. Tried it with both my internal centrino adapter, plus the Linksys SRX pcmcia card, just to be sure. |

| I think the problem with the WRT54GX (V2) and the Cisco VPN client is the transport setting in the client. Since I've changed the default transport setting in the VPN client (ver. 4.7xxxx) from IPSEC over UDP (default) to IPSEC over TCP it works fine. The WRT54GX seems to block a lot of UDP traffic including IPSEC over UDP. Weird stuff cuz their other routers don't do this. I will create a call at Linksys why this is happening and why it is impossible to change this behavior from the Webinterface.
I hope my tip works for you guys too. |

| Like eveyone else I have this same problem and for me the change to IPSEC over TCP did not work, but I have a much older version of the Cisco VPN client (version 3.5.2(B) Would be v.interested in any followup you get from Linksys since I really don't want to take this back... |
