Yeah, but they have GIG fiber links and are so far ahead of the US broadband industry as we see reported time and time again here on DSLR.

That's the clincher. He wasn't speaking freely. Speaking freely isn't allowed in a communist country.

He violated that countries laws, plain and simple.

This has nothing to do with free speech, or free journalism, or any freedom whatsoever. They don't allow it.
