| Monitor switches to power save
Greetings:) My sons pc has ben acting up, the monitor started to automatically go into power save mode. I checked the power settings and found that it was set to do that after 20 minutes, which by the way before that it was set to be always on. I switched monitors and it still does the same thing. This was doing this before and after we put a new graphics card in.(Nvidia 5600) It's running XP, 512 ram, p3. Could this be a virus or maybe it's from my son banging on the table that the pc sits on?
Thanks:) |

| Does it go into power save WHILE he's on it or after it's left for a while? Have you checked in your new video card settings and BIOS for the other power saving options? -- I'm a woman by the way . |
