Yes and no. No according to Cisco. However yes in reality with proper IOS image.

FYI, even 2610 can take NM-1A-OC3MMF!

fyi, the nm-1e is not fast ethernet. The 2610 will not accept the nm-1fe either.

Best bet might be to get a used 2621.

In any event, I have a nm-1e I was going to put on ebay, IM me if you are interested in buying.
