I think professionals may actually snatch up the last of the PPC Macs, similar to the run on OS 9 compatible units way back when. Despite what Apple may claim, applications are going to have switching pains all over again, and if my company relied on Mac software, I would make sure we had enough machines to continue running for a good long time while things got sorted out.
