| New DSL won't sync; Speedstream Modem blinks red
Hi, A friend of mine recently ordered SBC DSL, but we can't get the Speedstream Modem to sync. Put filters on all of the lines and still nothing. Talked to tech support they say its an inside wire problem, but I took the modem to the NID and plugged it in (got no sync), tried it with a known good modem, and still no sync. I think it's outside the house, but I can't troubleshoot it any further. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks |

send me the tel#, sounds like it's outside since you tried to sync with the modem at th outside of the house.. |

Is it truely blinking Red, or is it amber. Red=Bad modem, amber is just a no-sync issue. |
