I have verizon regular line and I live in NY.
For outbound calls though, I use:
VoipBuster from Voipbuster.com for free voip to US lines, one time activation with 1 euro
VoipCheap from VoipCheap.co.uk for free voip to UK and Ireland landlines, one time activation with £1
More recently  , Sipdiscount.com using free Sip software X-lite, after activation of Sipdiscount once with 5 euro, calls are free to US, Canada, Australia, UK, Ireland and other Western European countries.
I'm too chicken to let go of the traditional basic line. But recurring cost for outgoing calls at least is $0/month. |
