Just curious, why have a measured line as opposed to a flat rate line? I agree that, from a technology point of view, there is no difference for the DSL, the measured line is a switch thing. The problem probably has to do with USOC codes, which is a billng thing. |

| if things don't clear up, play their game and change the line to flat, resubmit the order, provision the Covad, then change it back to measured. Measured only relates to whether your local calls are paid in advance at a flat rate or in arrears for a per minute charge. |

| I would avoid the measured service with DSL from a different provider like the plague.
Get a basic home telephone line, dsl, and be done with it.
Personally, bending over backwards to save a small amount of money by having a measured line is not worth the trouble. |
