Yes but he is not using it. That's the part I don't understand. We have different SS #s but for some reason his SS # is never found in their database!
We're 24 years old and he can't get any loans at all because they have absolutely no info about him.
I'm worried because even though my score is decent I was able to get a car loan with 8.54% interest rate.
BTW until recently we had cell service with US Cellular and that was suspended because of fraud. It turned out they thought someone had a fraudulent account even though we both pay on time. My brother cleared that mess and got his service back but I switched because I don't want to get that problem again.
I'm sick of it to be honest, our bank keeps messing our deposits. His money gets deposited to my account and vice versa. And even though we are extremely careful when giving out our info and making sure the clerks get it right, probably 5 out of 10 times someone makes a mistake. |

| Try this site. www.clarkhoward.com. Clark Howard is a consumer guru here in the Alanta area. He has a radio show broadcast nationally. I don't know if you get it in your area, but check. If not go the site. I'm sure there's something there regarding your problem, as it is a common problem with people with the same names. He's amazing in the problems he or his staff can solve for you. There's phone numbers listed to contact them.
Best of all his advice is free! If he can't solve it for you, nobody can. |
