hi, just wondering what port on a router you use to connect T1?

Serial port. Depending on what the provider gave you, you may need a CSU/DSU device (or it may already be built into the serial port).

As mentioned, it depends on the CSU/DSU equipment. If it is external CSU/DSU with Ethernet port, then you use Ethernet port.
