I tried numerous combinations of trying to reset the adapter (both while in "Sipura" mode and "Linksys" mode, switching back 'n forth between the firmware flavors).
It "Sipura" mode, a master reset acted like all "default Sipura" settings were loaded; however, once switching back to "Linksys" firmware, it was a locked PAP2 Vonage adapter again.

Would that effectively turn this device into a SPA2000 (or SPA2002), then only needing to update firmware as if it were a Sipura and not dealing with it reverting to a locked Vonage device?

| Re: [PAP2] Unlocking Guide Not sure if I understand your question, but the IP address of the adapter is whatever your router gave it through dhcp. By default, the PAP2 will get it's IP address dynamically. You need to look at the dhcp list in your router and it will tell you which IP addresses are being used. It will be one of those listed.
