SA Explorer 8300HD DVR Dolby Digital Question

tommy122 join:2001-03-10 Raleigh, NC	SA Explorer 8300HD DVR Dolby Digital Question My 8300HD DVR will occasionally stop passing DD on all channels that have it. The only way I can get it back is to reboot the box. Does anyone know why this happens?

Can you try the digital coax port to see if maybe the toslink connector has an issue? I have a 8300HD and use digital coax and haven't had the issue you see, but then again I have a different cable company who could be using a different firmware and/or software package on my box than you.
