What is not working volume or channel +/- ?
For both you start with hitting cable
Hold setup till light blinks 2 times
Volume code = 993
Channel +/- = 991
Then hit cable and should be good to go
I went to the local COMCAST office and got 2 new remotes, now everything is working fine
