Also, the newer modems handle the PPPoE on board so you have a few options: 1. Let the modem do the PPPoE (default setting) and set the router up for DHCP. 2. | My client is opening a small branch office in another city. They will have SBC DSL. I'm hoping not to have to make the trip there, because the only reason I'd have to would be to set up DSL for them. I'd like to send them up there with a SOHO router with the PPPoE credentials already set up and ready to plug in.
There used to be a web site where you created the SBC DSL account (username, password, e-mail addresses etc.) and you didn't have to do it on site. Is that still available, and if so, what is the URL?
