Nonsense! Most of the countries represented at the UN are third world countries. While we were putting men on the moon, building the first computers, and designing the IEEE specs for the ethernet that was being put into practice, most of these UN represented people had never yet seen so much as a telephone.
That doesn't make them any less entitled to have a say in matters that concern them.

Poor people are allowed to participate in the democratic process in America. Poor countries are are given the same liberty on UN councils. I see no problem here.
