| Linksys rebates? any experience with them?
I bought a Linksys Wireless B router for $20 and it came with a $30 rebate. I mailed the rebate the next day after I made copies of the rebate materials. The rebate form said to wait for 3 weeks for the submission to be received and 5 more weeks to verify and process the rebate. It's been 3 weeks since I mailed my rebate and their website www.web-rebates.com/Linksys doesn't have any records with my address. Should I be concerned? I called their 1-888 number today but the office was closed.
What's your experience with Linksys rebates? |

They are pretty good with their promises. Your rebate will take the full 8 weeks so don't worry yet. |

| reply to jaa I have done a couple of reabtes through them and have never had a problem. I submitted one this last August and just received an email a couple of days ago saying they received it and are processing it. They have always come through, just a timely process. |

| reply to avatarx I have submitted several rebates to Linksys. Except for the last one, the only problem has been waiting for a very long time until the check comes. The last time, I waited for a very long time and there was never any indication of their receiving it. I finally contacted Linksys (I think via an email address or form at their site) and explained the problem. They gave me a new address to write and I resubmitted my copy of the previously sent materials. That resulted in a rebate check, and later they apparently "found" my original submission, and sent me a rebate for that as well. |

| reply to avatarx Last rebate I had with linksys (July 05), I could not find its status on-line after about 6 weeks. Fired off an e-mail questioning the rebate. Never received a response but the check arrived about 3 days later. Be sure to tell whomever you have copies of what was sent in. |

1 edit | reply to avatarx This doesn't pertain to Linksys specifically, but if the rebate processor misspells your name on the data entry, you will not be able to find the status of your rebate. This just happened to me with Panasonic. I tried checking my status repeatedly with all sorts of variations of my name such as no caps or all caps, etc. Eventually the rebate check arrived with a data entry typo in my name. |
