| [Speed Issues] help with my connection please
here's the problem .. two weeks ago charter did some upgrade/maintenance in my area and my modem kept dropping it's connection not being able to get the upstream frequency. i got a charter tech to come look at it and they said the modem was the problem so they switched it out with a ambit modem. i don't have anymore of that upstream frequency errors, at least i can't tell by the logs because they are different then surfboard logs, however my latency is still awful.

also i've noticed that when i'm downloading, webpages tend to not load up, and i'm not even maxing out my download/upload ratio. i'm on the 3/256 package, and most of my downloads get stuck at the 40kB/sec range.
could this possibly be my linksys wrt54g routers issue? |
