First off i am using ZoneAlarm free version 6.0.667.000 on a XP Pro Sp2 and i haven't had any problems what so ever in the 5 years i have been using ZA.In my humble opinion yes it would be wise to move up to the next version, why well the improvements better stability etc.But i am no expert i am only saying what i have experienced, so i leave it up to you to decide.I wish you luck.
