Awesome web hosting at a great price!!

Hey guys, I have a good friend who is offering hosting at real good price. I've used his service for some time now, with absolutely no problems. He's been in business almost two years and has a 99.9% up-time rate also. He's trying to get his name out there, so I thought I'd help him by posting it here and letting you guys have a look at it for yourself. Here's the like to his site, »www.i-ah.com/ so please check it out and feel free to post some feed back. Thanks guys,

Eric

Are you sure he's been in business 2 years?

I wish your friend good luck in his/her venture. Nice to see a webhost that doesn't claim to actually own the datacenter like so many start-up's do.

One thing that I would like to point out, is that the entire site could use a good spell checking. There are a few errors here and there that that could potentially turn customers away.

The biggest one I noticed is displayed in every page footer. I'd advice getting it fixed asap.

Thanks a lot for the heads up. He's on it now making the correction. IF anyone else sees anything that might help his business, please feel free to post.

You're welcome. I think presentation is a pretty big deal, you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Now this might just be nit-picking, but I'd recommend capitalizing the name of the business (Ice Age Hosting, not ice age hosting) and replace the (C) with a ©. Here's the HTML code for that:

©

Thanks a lot man for taking the time to check it out for him. He's a real good guy that just needs to get some customers. I've been with him since he's started and the services is great. Once again, thanks a lot and I'll tell him what you said.

From the site
"Welcome to ice age hosting. We have finally finished version 4, and many more features once again have to be announced. Some new stuff we have added:"

Does not sound right to me. You do not HAVE to announce. Maybe "and again we have many new features to announce." Ice age Hosting should be capitalized or other.

- New Domain name website offering lower priced domains

I do not understand the above. you register domain names or you have many domains that are low priced.? or is it I am just confused.

- Order form has been changed for the better, easier to understand
- Referral Program has been added, check link at bottom of every page
- New forum skin, giving ice age hosting a newer look

maybe Ice Age Hosting or iCE AGE HOSTiNG to keep with the logo

- Datacenter information, you can now view our datacenter information in the "about us" page

All this and even more to come. Join our community and look out for great contests and deals as they unfold.

ice age hosting staff.

Again "ice age hosting" looks bad.

Thanks for being honest. I'm sure if you look at it again tomorrow, all this will be taken care of. It takes peoples opinions to get the bugs worked out of something. Thanks for the replies.

I am no expert but I would also suggest these few things:

Do not make it a blank page when going to the forums for support. I hate when a new window opens. (JMHO here lol)

also same thing for domains. I say keep everything on one window. Simple, fast.

again I am no expert, jmho
