From the website, their offerings are to office buildings, apartments (where?) but I think the pricing will not be competitive if you are only partnering NTT. |

Heh, heh, another Turd World Mentality trying to offer First World service? redglobe , I fully disagree with you to 'go easy on them'. The questions and comments I've read so far are very pertinent to someone deciding to take up their service. After you've subscribed, parted with your hard earn cash and then got no response from them like this, will you 'go easy on them'? For all we know, this nym/nick is trying to flame up her ex-company? Perhap something nice to hear? Ha ha ha I do take it easy sometime (anger management?), but at the same time collect all the reports/anger/frustration in one "sempit" box. Then let its explode, sometime people may change after/toward this. Hmmm...this disease is common nowadays for most ASPs, ISPs in Malaysia.
They start big with the usual hoo hah and then died down and slipped into oblivion.
These are the companies that really donno what they doing and I think many instances already in Malaysia. Look at Maxis, Time, what happened to their wireless broadband rollout? Jaring also plagued by ever consistent network problems since their launch.
Claim to do is one thing, doing it well is another. So, are we still want to complain about Streamyx? I think we are lucky to have something tangible now to rely on. |

My suggestion to you.
1. Put up your 'package' plan as well as coverage area in easy to navigate page. Do note that many customer who are going for broadband service will rather 'surf' rather than call. You coverage area need to be a little specific as to which area or housing area.
2. Create a little 'FAQ' online rather than ask people to call. It will save your company on customer support as well as pleased the customer with fast answer available online.
3. Clearly specify your terms and agreement for the package offered. i.e 1 year contract, 70% best effort bandwidth etc
4. Put an email where they can contact your customer support, and be sure to respond to the enquiry within 3 working days. If you are unable to respond soon, just inform the customer that you've received the email and will get back to them soon. No one likes to wait forever not knowing whether the email they send have reach the intended recipient or not.
5. Please revamp your website to include basic html webpage as well rather than just give the option of flash based website. And do include SITEMAP. Your website is very difficult to browse and it annoys most of your 'potential' customer.
Anyway, above is just my opinion in some ways you can improve your customer relation. |

a lot wireless isp,start offer service in high rise area,they believe this high rise area can give them fast profit even at they just start service,but the true is ,those area,is already serve by dsl,no point if people let go dsl and choose wireless,so what happen at the end is,they only get a little custumer,there are people or building that have trouble or unconvinient to get tm line or use dsl.then this wireless isp claim,their custumer is so little,they make lost,so they no more interest to expand coverage....
anyone know kampar?a city with a lot profesional and higher education student,but untill today,they still no broadband there....funny?
with the ministry force all telecom company open their network to all isp to offer dsl,i hope those funny chosing coverage area policy will be a history |

athlon 11 , It all depend on market study result. It pretty much they (MyKris) come out with market survey/poll that shows alot of ppl in Mont Kiara still looking for broadband... Statistic might show the same thing as well. You have to ask their management why Mont Kiara is in the list if you really want to know... |

MyKris service is not good and sub standard. If you have no option to choose but only Streamyx and MyKris, you better opt for Streamyx. They are not the ISP at the first place and this company depends heavily of ISP and line carrier vendors like TmNet, Jaring, NTT ,etc. to provide the Internet access and hence has no control over the access. Uptime is not better then MyKris but worst the Streamyx. They're a wireless broadband access provider and I think the services are only avaiable to commercial building. They are using a wireless antenna to have a point to point with line of sight requirement in order to the access to be available. Hence, it's not available for home users. Their prices are beyond the mean of home users or smaller businesses. Try to compare their pricing and you will know how much they differ from Streamyx.
I can put my head to confirm their uptime is terrible and not worth to consider particularly you are a business entitiy and you need to constantly have the line up. Their techinal staffs are not that competence and may not be able to resolve some of the problem. Support respond from them are not good either.
I am not writing this with any agenda but to let anyone who read this posting about the quality of service. If you're not convience, try to subscribe and you should know what I mean.
