Anyone giving this a go yet? Pretty cool game but the graphics are a bit sticky in places - nowhere near as smooth as 2005. The Rivals part of the game is probably the best improvement combining the scenarios with a walk back through time. You start back at the turn of the century and work you way through the 20th century. Some of the challenges can a bit of a, er, challenge especially the Arnold Palmer one. The "lessons" are almost identical to 2005. New courses really don't add much. They brought back Bethpage from 2003 but it's no where near as tough. I'm about 80% of the way through and I'd say there's enough new stuff to buy the game if you're really into Tiger's games or wait until the price drops.

I picked Tiger Woods 06 up the day it came out. The game runs pretty good with my video card but sometimes it will get a little jerky for a few seconds. I didn't play Tiger Woods 2005 very much so I don't know how this one differs. I am liking the Rivals mode a lot and being able to use the older style golf clubs etc..

How many cd's are there for Tiger 2006? I got it for Christmas and I can't get it to work. THe install wizard screen doesn't pop up. I meet all requirements and I am frustrated as hell!!! There were 2 cd's in it. I know that I have to use a DVDrom drive to install...please help me!!!

2004 and 2005 came with 3 cd's. Install disc, media disk, and courses disk. I would assume 2006 does as well.

I got this for my dad for xmas but he's having major problems with the game locking up when loading from one hole to the next, it seems to happen nearly everytime he plays it. I know for a fact that his pc's spec is well above the required and i've upgraded the graphics card drivers but still having the same issue. Anyone have any ideas? |
