Re: I think I pushed DI-624 to its limit - 2350...

I see what u mean.. well its been on for a day already ever since i turned it on... but when u say " hot" linksys router do u mean the wrt45gs with speed booster... i heard they have firmware problems.. i actually was gonna get one of those but i leaned towards the di-624 assuming it had better firmware.. i actually have the 2.42 fw.. the one that came with the router when i bought it... i have a 21 day warranty on it.. and i can return it if its faulty. Thats why i have to run tests on it and stuff..

I don't think so... it functions like a woman. When it's doing okay, it's awesome. But when it goes haywire, you don't get to know why. And if you don't know why, it expects you to know why. Then when you try to leave it for another model, especially that hot new Linksys or Netgear, it kills you in your sleep.

Really though, the only info I think it can show is its uptime from the last reboot. Any number of factors could cause the "watchdog" feature to reboot it, overheating, buffer underrun (or too many connections), buggy firmware version, self-inflicted RFI, bad interference from a RF device nearby or a neighbor's router, etc..

2350, wow!
I have disabled "DNS relay" and "gaming mode". What other settings can I play with to allow most connections?

2350 concurrent connections. Any higher numbers reboots my router.
