Blew it ALL UP!

Well, close.

Revamped the peer-to-peer here and set up Windows Server 2003 Small Business Edition Premium domain. This involved some software and hardware reshuffling:

Server:
Installed the Server Software after:
Removing the ATI A-I-W 9800 Pro and replacing it with an ATI 7000 (9800 was too rich for Server's blood)
Removed the Audigy 2 ZS Platinum setup and all associated software and went back to on-board (Asus SK8N) audio.
Added 2nd NIC so that the machine can act as the firewall on the WAN side using MS ISA Server.

So now that system looks like:
Asus SK8N
1 GB ECC DDR
AMD Opteron 150
2 x 34GB WD Raptors in Raid 1 for system drive
250 GB HDD for data storage

----
A second system - one that keeps undergoing changes - replaced 60GB drive that got rather full with 320GB WD IDE, giving what started out years ago as an AMD 1800+ 512MB system some added life - changes over time on it have resulted in it configured as:

Asus A7N8X-E
AMD XP 3200+
1 GB PC3200 RAM
320GB C:
200GB D:
NEC 2510A DVD
Pinnacle Systems Video Capture (may swap that out and drop in the ATI A-I-W 9800 Pro removed from the other system later)

Amazingly, after the surgery, the patients seem to have made a successful recovery.
