And on a similar off topic note I got an email from a buddy:
" "Digital Age" originating form cyprus for 24.99 and to top it off I was assesed a 74 cent currency exchange fee"
Basically you need to just watch for ANY unusual activity or charges you dont recognize. And not just on credit card, but phone bill too. Someone tried to throw on a $30 a month "voicemail" system onto ours once.
I've also seen ppl try to sneak on like $2 charges to see if you are paying attention to the credit card, I had that happen to me. It was very funky because you called the 800 number on the transaction and it started out with a recorded message that said right up front: "if you are calling about a charge on your credit card press 1" then it said it would take it off. hahahahahahaah. Very shady, like they had an automated system to remove the charges, you never had to speak to a person.
