Here in SF, CA. We have found out that with certain DSLAMS the 3346 will drop the signal on a 3MEG line. But as soon as you drop the speed problem goes away. It has nothing to do with distance, or wiring. (average 1 to 5 blocks away from C.O., 1 IW 1 jack, strictly for DATA not phone use)
If you already have the latest firmware - 7.4.0 R6 - and it still having problems I would try a different brand of router with your old DSL modem!! |
