[ATT CV] How do I get to the Centillium setup screen?

I have the Centillium TA hooked up behind a Dlink DI-624 wireless router. The TA seems to work fine, but I can't get to the TA's setup screen. The Dlink shows the TA's address, but I can't get access.

You have to plug directly into the Centillium.

You can not reach it via the wan port. You can try to plug directly into the lan port and set you computer to something like 192.168.15.5, but I suspect that unless it is directly plug into the cable modem, and the computer pluged into the lan port, you will not get it. I have the linksys, and the interface is only active when it is in this configuration

I know that works for the D-Link (I've done it before). I can't vouch for the Centilium. I guess it's worth a try for ajricaud.

As the others have said, you have to be plugged directly into the Centillium. This of course is for security purposes, if you didn't have to have a physical connection then anyone on the net could hack in and mess with your settings.

If your computer is also wireless then you could just run a LAN cable from your PC to the Centillium and access that way without changing much from your system.

BTW, the address for reaching the control panel in the Centillium is 192.168.15.1. The username and password are user.

Thanks to all you posters. That makes sense and I'm sure that will work.
