Hmmm. This should work, I'm not sure what's going on. I've only done this within my LAN and through an IP tunnel (which appears like a LAN address).
In Status Log - Log Settings, make sure you have "Dropped Packets" marked. Then look at your log after a connection try. Do you see any other incoming packets from the client?

2 edits | Ummm, when I enter the WAN IP in WMP or any other player it just has an error saying your content could nto be played because of a network error, please verify that you are connected to the network.
the log has no record of any dropped packets
btw, im using firmware 1.11 on a Rev. A1 DI-524 |
