 | Disassembling Toshiba Notebook. Teardown guides. Ok, guys. I know that it is very hard to find a teardown guide with pictures for a laptop. So, I decided to create it myself. I just started a new website. This web site will help you to disassemble laptops to fix it. Right now I have 4 complete teardown guides for the following units: Toshiba Satellite 1415 Toshiba Satellite M35X Toshiba Satellite A60/A65 Toshiba Satellite A70/A75
More coming. I'll create a guide for any unit I have to repair (not only for Toshibas). Stay tuned.
It's here: »www.irisvista.com/tech/index.htm |

Big Thanks I have a M35 and was concerned how to fix/replace the fan if it ever failed (or even clean). I have read that previous versions of the M35 had a fan cover but the new one does not. |

Re: Toshiba Satellite A65 help in dire need. I'm new at this. This is my first time posting a response on a forum, but i'm in dire need of some help. I bought this used Toshiba notebook. The "Toshiba Satellite A65" to be exact. I was wondering if you can help me out with this one problem. See the battery died on the laptop when I was watching a movie on it and when I plugged the A/C chord into the laptop, I tried to turn it on again but It wouldn't turn on. I held the power button on for a while but it still wouldn't turn on. Both the lights are green, the one for the battery and the one for the power, but for some reason my laptops not turning on. Please please help. Thanks for your time. |

 | Try to minimize your system. Remove an extra memory if you have it, wireless card, modem, hard drive and DVD drive, battery. Try to turn it on and get video using AC power, then try to get video using battery. Try to connect an external monitor and see if you can get video there. If you get video, install removed components one by one until you laptop fails again. The last installed part would be your problem. If it will not help, most likely your system board is bad. |
