[General] low bandwidth voip?

hello im currently a vonage customer thru satellite internet and vonage used to work very good , but now its very bad. i just unlocked my pap2 and was wondering if anyone knew of any voip companies that require low bandwidth. i tried stanaphone but i do not understand what my user name is.
