Re: Qwest DSL Modem

As I'm a new Qwest DSL customer, can I add my Linksys wireless router to the Actiontec modem supplied by Qwest?

Where may I find info on the supported modems for Qwest DSL?

Many thanks

Yes, many people do this as I have with my past Linksys and my current D-Link 4300 by doing DMZing

The supported modems are:
Actiontec® GT701-wg
Actiontec® 1520 and 1524
Intel® PRO/DSL 3200
Intel® PRO/DSL 2200
Cisco® 675/678
Arescom® NetDSL 800
Accton® DSL 1000

Of these I think they are primarily only distributing the Actiontec® GT701.

If you would like to see a list of all of the modems that people have gotten to work with Qwest DSL you can find that here: »US West/Qwest DSL »What end-user devices work with Qwest ADSL?
