| Re: Triple Play can be good deal; but check prices I have FTTH and I get basic telephone, digital TV w/DVR includes something like 35 premium movie channels, and 2.8Mbps up/down high speed internet. We pay about $160/month.
I do it mainly for the convenience of one bill. I've checked around and I would pay about the same or less if I went with Direct TV and Bellsouth DSL.
The extra upload is a perk, but if I had the cable option I would probably take it. The pings on my fiber internet are not always the greatest. The latency jumps around alot during peak times. Mainly due to the route the ISP uses to get us to the backbone.
But anyway that's my situation. |
