said by insomniac84 :said by Jeffrey :May be for the average consumer the Triple Play from CV is a good deal, but my line of thinking has been to never put all my eggs in one basket. Data - Verizon Fios Video - TheDishNetwork Voice - Vonage Vonage would be dependant on Fios, so I wouldn't exactly say you have a truly separate service. Well, eventually, everything will depend on the pipe into youre home. I was saying it's a seperate service in the sense of if I had instead subscribed to CV's VoIP product, "Optimum Voice."
What VoIP product is not dependent upon the data connection to the home? Withe upload that Fios provides (I'm soon to go to the 5mibt upload speed), QoS is not even an issue here for the VoIP lines.
Do you subscribe to a triple play? -- "When you get lost in your imaginatory vagueness, your forsight becomes a nimble vagrant."
