| [SunRocket] Caller Id Time Changed
My caller id started to show the time an hour behind, instead of Centeral. I have not made any changes to my account or to the adaptor when this started. I have since resaved the time zone as CST under my Account, recycled the adaptor, still the same issue. Any other suggestions, please. |

Sorry, I'm no help.
If you can get to Miscellaneous page on your gizmo settings then you can change the time. Otherwise you will have to start a ticket and have them correct your time zone in your cfg file. Not the end of the world but a pain. |

| reply to med1234 After being twice told by SR chat to goto My Account and changing the setting there, and me twice telling them that that is in fact what is there and I have not touched anything to make this happen, "Anthoney and Michael" at SR closed the chat sessions not to be bothered by me. A reset of the adaptor did the trick. SR is indeed the most incompetent of VOIP providers there is. |

| said by med1234 :Did a reset to default by entering ##DEFAULT and letting it load a new config file. If this did the trick then it simply means that the settings were corrected in your cfg file, but the gizmo only reads the cfg file if it sees a change in the posting date. Doing the default sets the gizmo to read the entire cfg file and accept the settings. The settings don't take effect until after the gizmo is again rebooted.
Please do the default correctly in order to not trash your gizmo.
Gizmo Default Directions:
1. Take the phone off hook. 2. With the WAN connected power the gizmo down then back up. 3. Don't wait for dial tone. Dial ##3332858, then listen for some sound (DOT) wait about another 30 seconds and then hang up the phone and remove power from the gizmo. 4. Wait about 4 seconds then power up the gizmo. The MGMT light should blink several times. 5. Wait about another 30 seconds and repeat step 4.
This will force the gizmo to reinstall all of the cfg file settings and solve the issue some of us experienced during the 4.57.41 firmware push.
If you experience problems, please feel free to IM me. |
