They Much be held accountable for their advertising. There is a law regarding "truth in advertising" which states you can no lie to the consumer.
Their terms are well laid out on their web page and in the customer agreement. And advertising is so imprecise legally that you almost never get a company for lying. The word "unlimited" has such a wide array of meanings that it can't be held up as a precise legal term.
So would it be okay if you were a supermarket and you sent out a flyer advertising everything as free, and put all the price tags on the shelfs saying free, then when everyone went to buy stuff say "oh i'm sorry, if you'll read the fine print free really means the msrp of the items".
