Re: email smtp going slow ONLY to hotmail?
Tested port 587 and the email shows up right away. Guess the problem is related to using port 25 as the other 4 email still haven't shown up. |

Using the Alternate port 587 does work. I tried it today myself and the mail moved to hotmail instantaneous.
Check with your mail client outgoing server settings on how to include a port number. For many it's smtp.broadband.rogers.com:587 |

Strange i just tried sending to Hotmail via Rogers smtp and it arrived in about 7 mins. I wonder if the problem depends on the hotmail server your account resides on? |

I sent an email to a hotmail user on Monday morning. They replied this morning and said they just received my message. Seems like this happens quite a bit. Other than hotmail, Rogers mail servers suit my needs quite well. |
