I am using a DTA-310. The solution is to put your assigned username in the telephone number field as well.

It runs ok on my DTA-310 with LeadTek 17I firmware. The solution was to put the username in the phone number slot as well as the username one.

I set it up on SPA841 and it works ok. I noticed a bit of packet loss and it wasn't on my ISP's side. The other party said I was crystal clear but sometimes their voice sounded like a static sound mixed with their voice.

This will be a short term "free" offering. What better way to get exposure and publicity than letting us talk about it and use it and "hopefully" upgrade to the paid version.
If their paid quality is an example of what their base product sounds like, I'll wait till they perfect their web site, codecs and other things. But for now, free is free as the man said.

voipfima, I am talking about management of my account. I can sign in with IE, but not Firefox. Fortunalty, I got the IE Tab extension, so its no big deal to me, but its smoething they outhgt to fix if they want us to refer customers to them.

OK, you got my attention on two fronts.

One, I'll have to try my DTA310 again with the username for the phone number.

two, I turned a DTA-310 into a brick loading AR170 firmware on it. I totally missed the thread about 17I firmware and thank you for indirectly bringing it to my attention.

DTA-310 17I firmware. Be careful about installing it. It works well, but I'm not sure if it can ever be replaced. I haven't gone there as I'm happy with the way it works and don't want to take a chance on bricking it.

It worked fine for me. A few seconds after clicking the button, my phone rang (I gave them my Stanaphone number and used a softphone from work) and a recorded voice gave me my verification number. I punched it into the provided box, and my account was provisioned and authorized.

I signed up for a 310 number, and got one. It works fine, with both a Sipura SPA-2000 and the SJPhone softphone. I've already made a few long distance calls.

FWIW, I signed up for, and verified the account with Opera, not Internet Explorer.

You are the man. I would have never thought of putting the SIP username in the phone number field.

The service works just fine on the DTA-310 with AR160 firmware.

To make a note, I previously had problems using my DTA-310's with FWD until I used the voxilla tool to configure them for FWD. The setting appeared identical before and after so I don't know if other "hidden" settings changed for the voxilla tool, but all I know is it worked afterwards. If someone can't get their DTA to work, it may not hurt to go to voxilla's website and use their configuration wizard tool to setup your Leadtek device for FWD (via proxy) and verify that it works with FWD. When that works, just change the fields above and hopefully it will work with callpacket.

Thier support team is a joke.
Nobody speaks english and nobody knows how the verification process works.
I have tried the phone, email and chat suppport and they have no clue to what's going on.
Email = No response
Chat = will not respond after you describe the problem, and they have the nerve to ask you if you are there if you don't respond in 1 minute
Phone = Can understand/speak engligh

Goodluck surviving in the VoIP market!

Which is why I gave them ALL bogus information and never my credit card. While chances are they are legit, what better way to Phish people's credit cards....start a business - give stuff away, steal the personal info, buy lots of color tv's with the stolen cards and then shut down.

Spoken like a true New Yorker. I'm probably wrong but.....
The early bird catches the worm.:p
