Post your location for Southern California

I have created one of these for the Weather forum and several forums are doing the same.

So post your location on the map if you would like. I have set it for all of California and adjoining states.

Then post your feed back so we know when you have posted. This is completely voluntary of course.

LOL, the map shows me living in the middle of a lake a mile from where I actually am.

That place has always been there...I use to go there when I was about 6 or 7 with my dad when he exchanged batteries...

the markers disappearing was slightly a user problem. i hadn't actually added myself at that point, because i had declined to "shout out". but it was required...

however, once i was fully signed up, there were a couple buggy things that happened (at least when zoomed in). clicking on a marker initially popped up that shout out, but later it would popup some random shout out at another marker, and if i double clicked, i would center on that other random marker. and, the markers did disappear at times (still).

i do like the idea, though. it would be interesting to create such a map of clients and/or friends. i just wish the markers were more configurable. remember back when you'd buy a map of your town or maybe the US and put little pushpins or sticker dots where you'd traveled? except usually, you'd have some kind of color code to the markers to differentiate between activities...

Either RR Conductor or Mike Cook lied when they posted their pictures -- unless they are the same guy. It's the same picture.
