Re: The External Tips and Tutorial Link Thread

Still more:

The photography-oriented videos on this site include advice on using Adobe Photoshop, handling your camera settings, and taking portraits and close-ups. Best of all, no video runs more than 5 minutes, so you can learn in bit-sized chunks:

One of the oldest photo-related sites on the Web is the New York Institute of Photography. Sure, the site's goal is to get you to sign up for photography courses, but you can get tons of free advice by flipping to the NYI Photo eZine (»www.nyip.com/ezine/)

Another cool option: the NYIP Podcast (»www.nyipodcast.com/)

and then there's:

»tutorialoutpost.com/tutorials/ph···editing/

General photography link:

»danny.id.au/photography/links/

It contains links about various topics:

1. Great photos taken in various world locations.
2. A Magnum photographer that shoots with P&S instead of SLR.
3. The art of bird photography.
4. Why most landscape photographs suck.
5. And much more.

Regards.

copyright notice, for those who want to protect their published photos:

which explains their preference for a specific form of the three parts of the copyright notice:
© 2006 John Doe

publication, if i remember correctly, was long ago defined as access by more than one non-family member, i.e. one friend was private, two friends was "publication".

you can get a similar dark vignette effect, pre-photoshop, with a tube in front of your lens, that is blackened or flocked or velveted inside.
