Well he gets an internet connection that is somewhat faster than 56K but its over his cell which he connects to his computer through I think a USB or a COM cable. Is it possible to use this type of internet connection with an ATA adapter? Somehow connect the ATA via the computer or something. |

| Packet8 VOIP will work on even a dialup ISP connection so if you were in a motel without broadband, you could still bring your adapter to receive and make your calls. having said that, It should work perfectly fine with a 60-80k cellular wireless connection.
If you both had Packet8, Packet8 customers can talk to each other with unlimited minutes not counting against their plan. The lowest plan Packet8 has is a $19.99 plan. That is unlimited in the United States and Canada, OR 1000 minutes internationally.
So,if you both get Packet8, he can get a United States number and talk to you unlimited for $19.99. AND being you are both PACKET8 customers, you could use their VIDEO PHONES and talk and see each other unlimited. This feature only works for Packet8 to Packet8 customers. Later... Mike... |
