| You could buy a universal remote that "SHOULD" work with any TV. Or if you can't find one that will work with yours (like I couldn't) you can buy an OEM at »www.partstore.com

| reply to Oleg Yeap, Walmart. You can get a One-For-All remote there that will do a great job as a replacement for $10-15. Something like these:
»www.ofausa.com/remote.php?type=URC%204021 ($7.99 at Amazon.com) »www.ofausa.com/remote.php?type=URC%206011 |

| reply to Oleg The type of TV may be really important here. What type of TV and the model would be helpful in finding the best option.
There are often special functions that that a universal won't be able to do. Convergence comes to mind.
How long have you had the TV? Was is missing the remote when you purchased? Broken? Lost? Dog ate it? |

| reply to Oleg The problem you'll have with Universal type remotes, is you may lose the ability to get into the setup menus on the TV. Let me know what your current remote, the broken one, looks like or a model number. I have two remotes for Philipps/Magnavox (wife and I each had one on each side of the room, don't ask... LOL) that belonged to a TV that recently died. They both work perfectly, and could use a new home. |

My Kameleon URC-9960 can get into the setup menu of my TV fine... and my DVD player... and my cable set-top box... |

| reply to Oleg Oh, OK, I'm sorry, the ones I have aren't even close. That looks like it has a number of different buttons for functions that my set didn't have. Oh well, I tried. You may have to either go with an OEM or as someone else suggested, one of the higher-end Universals, but they can get pretty pricey. |
