[VoicePulse] Voicepulse status.....

Came home today and had no dial tone (preceded shortly by the dropping of a phone conversation.......the first in 6 months).

Cant get to the VP website either.

Anyone else experiencing this? I wonder if it has anything to do with the hurricane.

All is good here.... no problems on both VoicePulse lines. Try rebooting your SPA and/or router.

Just got off the phone with the wife about 5 minutes ago. No issues.

Website is fast as ever. Was just adding a couple call filters.

If my router cant resolve www.voicepulse.com to an IP, I assume what Im seeing now is what will happen? (the adapter fails registration, I cant surf to voicepulse.com because it doesnt resolve, and even if I manually add a hosts entry I cant get to the IP for voicepulse.com).

Wonder if its a routing thing with my ISP.

Can you ping or traceroute to 66.234.228.151 (ns2.voicepulse.com) or 64.61.93.9 (ns3.voicepulse.com)?

Both traceroutes seem to hang up at vlan11.esd1.tl9.nac.net (209.123.11.97)

Who is your ISP? Sounds like it might be an issue with them.

Optimum Online.

Wouldnt surprise me in the least, but I can hear it now from tech support "well sir the domain its hanging up on is not optonline so we cant help you".

Any other suggestions before I call them?

Problem seems to have been fixed by whoever saw it first.

Strange, nice to see its working again though.

I wonder if there is a way to add manual routes for the IP just in case.

Nothing you can do at your end. Unfortunately we are routed by the isp where they want us to go.
