Where we stand on this fast path issue:
They can switch you back to fast path, that's a given.
Will they do it? If they made it easy for everyone, they would be swamped with calls, analyzing lines to see if a person qualifies, then placing work orders (opening tickets) to perform the tasks. I see their point.
However, I think they (verizon)got it a** backwards.
If a person has connectivity problems then they should then switch them to interleaved. But instead they want to place everyone on interleaved, making it a standard. Whoever made that brainless decision has headina** disease.
When I called it took about 1 1/2 hours being passed around from department to department with wait time. I refused to hang up. Then I got a long speech about if they switched me it was not reversable. (bullsh*t)
Maybe I was lucky, and maybe verbal skills played a part, but eventually was switched. In retrospect, I'm very glad I hung in there.
That was months ago, policies do change, and yes, I would do it over again. |
