Pay for ringtones?

www.3gforfree.com

Haven't paid for a ring tone in a long time. Same goes for true tones.
Yes, plenty of people make use of those...but truthfully, the volume on them tends to be inferior compared to the ringers that can be purchased directly from Sprint. There's also more serious quality issues with them sometimes. But yes, that's a good alternative.

Sweet! For $2.50 I get:
A digital copy of a song is some shitty sounding compression format that is probably proprietary. Even if it's MP3 it's still a joke for $2.50.
But look at the bright side! You can complain, moan and bitch about it all day long for free! and retain the right to NOT purchase it.

You guys, as usual, have this entitlement thing about you where you think that everything ever released will or should be priced the way you want it or have the expectation that it should.

Look, if you don't like it, don't buy it. There are people out there that will think this is the next best thing to sliced bread and have to have it at any price. May not be a whole lot, but some will certainly buy it.

Since many people here believe in p2p music sharing in the first place, why is anyone complaining about $2.50.

Who do they think they're kidding with songs at $2.50! What a joke. I guess now we know which company the music industry will show love to the most .
People are paying $2 right now for mere RINGERS. There will certainly be many people paying $2.50 for full songs. Furthermore, all accounts with Vision get a free $5 credit toward downloads, so people are free to try out 2 a month without any additional costs.

Since I sell Sprint phones, I fortunately get unlimited downloads. Mwahahaha.

You can still get grandfatherd goodies. I got unlimited Text accros four lines for $7.50 total. That is half the price that it normally is on one line.

As for the music store, the price is ridiculous, but I guarantee you people will pay for it. Most cell phone useres have no idea how to do these types of things on their own.
