| Frontier hasn't transferred phone #
I signed up with Vonage over 2 months ago, and my local phone carrier, Frontier, has not let my number go yet. I think they want me to give up and retain me as a customer. Vonage has been good to me, giving me credits to my bill and my first month was free anyways. I'm waiting it out, but it really sucks. |

| The hold-up definitely is Frontier. I realize mileage may vary by person, but the transfer of my parent's number was absolutely super smooth.
You could probably send out a complaint to the FCC about this. ILECs frown upon hate mail forwarded from the FCC, so it's worth a shot.
