[Sipura] GetSipura update

I know several of you have been wondering when the next update to GetSipura will be ready. Let's just say it's right around the corner. Here is a peek at what's in the next version:

Yep, it even logs unanswered outbound calls as missed! I've got quite of bit of logic to finish testing but I should have some test code for all of you to get your hands on soon.

See the final post (page 2) in your referred to thread at »[Sipura] Make your Sipura Speak! - GetSipura Guide -- it's from me on 2005-05-27 and I still have that password access problem. Is there any way you can start to address this with your latest code?

TIA,
- Don

Yes, it's on the list. Using the the standard HTTP authenication still does not authenicate on the Sipura's. I will try to find a workaround after the call logging is done.

The update has been delayed due to my regular job and a massive residential wiring/electrical job I'm doing in the evening. The only thing I have left is the database of the call logs, without the database the logs would be lost during a reboot or cycling Samurize.

The database still has a few minor bugs but I planned on releasing the working activity log as it is without the database on 12/31.

It's a nice 1920X1080 screencap from HDNet's live coverage of the launch. You better hurry and trademark that name for your next VoIP company!

Happy Holidays!!

Change Log:
v0.80a
- Several routines optimized (I hope no bugs were introduced!)
- Activity log added to Line1 - Line2 will be added in the next version
- GetSipura would sometimes incorrectly detect Samurize's installation folder - fixed

As soon as the Samurize site is back I will upload this there.

The next version will. There are two limitations...only the last 4 are retained and no log file.

This version was released as more of a proof of concept that call logging for the Sipura can be brought to the desktop. Just the tip of the iceberg!

the next version will have those limitations ?

This dude has got somming going on aswell but looks ugly, its got heaps of features u might wanna think about when u have time

Also a suggestion, maybe widen the windows a smidge so we can display the whole numbers, especially when u dial international numbers

thanks

No, the next version will not have these limitations, hence the 0.80a instead of 0.80. A few of you asked for an early version, so this is it.

Thanks for the look at the piece of software...I wonder where the idea came from. I see a few features in the software that are on my todo list, like "Last Registration Failure". I think I'll pass on it though, kinda clunky and ugly. There are few limitations and challenges when you are doing a project in Samurize but the outcome is awesome once you get it working.

Widen the windows as much as you want, this is one of the reasons I chose Samurize for this project. The end users can create any look they want. The only limit is your imagination, you could create bar graphs for latency, analog meters for jitter, etc. The choice is yours. The included Samurize GetSipura_Sample.ini is just that...a sample.

Whenever I figure out how I want to merge in the Line2 activity log and PSTN activity log.

I'm not sure if I should merge it into one big log with a column showing the line number or 3 separate logs.
