What good is it since if you try to use that kind of bandwidth they will cap you. They still do not allow servers, nor provide a static IP address and not to mention all those lovely port blocks.
If you are in a dense area lets see what happens when you and your neighbors try to use all that bandwidth. But I guess some people will buy into this marketing hype.
VZ FIOS, DSL and their 3rd party DSL providers are still a better deal. |

SBC residential doesn't seem to care about servers. Nor maxing out your connection 24/7. I doubt their customer base is 1%, not to mention the many other dsl ISPs with the same ethics. |

| You should go read SBC's TOS and AUP. There is only one place that talks about not being allowed to run a server, and that is for dialup users.

If I am being sold BOOL then I DESERVE/NEED a static IPN for my extra charges (which supposedly allow me to run servers and have NO port blocking or caps) since I need it to run Servers. I also should have my domain name listed as the target of the PTR rDNS record. This IPN should come from a SEPARATE IPN block from those issued to residential DHCP users so that I do not get blocked by Black Lists that erroneously flag my IPN as "DIAL-UP" thus blocking my SMTP Server's attempts to send mail (ie: Be seen as a Direct-to-MX SPAM attempt). Charging extra for a so-called "Business" Account while delivering Residential Grade Service (ie: Residential Restrictions) is IMO fraud. |

There used to be a clause in SBC's AUP about servers that seems to have been removed.
