| Tips for Running VoIP from a Wireless Connection
I'm F'in PISSED. I spent 4 hrs. on the phone w/Verizon, which by the way were VERY helpful. Linksys tech support SUCKS!!!!. When someone calls me on (VOIP) the phone will not ring and its driving me crazy. Linksys in (Pakistan) has no idea whats wrong, and cant speak ENGLISH. I can make calls but miss all my incoming calls, please help. I have BFSR11 , WRT54GX2, and WRT51AB, none of which will work properly. Ive hooked them up separately and in tandem, still no good. -- Easy Does It, But Do It! |

You did not specify how you setup and configure your VoIP device; however, from what you had mentioned in your post regarding of no incoming calls makes me to think you have an issue of port mapping. If your router supports uPnP features, please have them enabled and use STUN server on your ATA device provided you have a non-symmetrical router. |
